I finally reworked the whole website. I decided to use Jekyll so that I am able to write posts in a markdown language instead of using a WYSIWYG editor - for example Wordpress. So far, it worked out pretty well.

Even though Jekyll is optimized to be used with github pages, there are plenty of plugins to build individual website deployment approaches. You can run, like me, Jekyll based pages on your own webspace. I am convinced by my current setting and hope, that I can use it for a long time, so that I can concentrate on writing and not bug fixing or updating infrastructure and software.

So - enjoy the new design;-) I will enjoy writing.
